La mejor época para visitar Cozumel es de marzo a junio, cuando la isla disfruta de un clima agradable, con temperaturas diurnas que rondan los 90 grados Fahrenheit y nocturnas en torno a los 70 grados. Los inviernos son algo más fríos, con temperaturas que oscilan entre los 60 y los 80 grados, por lo que es aconsejable llevar ropa de abrigo. El final del verano y el principio del otoño marcan la temporada de lluvias, y existe la posibilidad de que los huracanes afecten a la isla.

De diciembre a febrero es la temporada alta, que atrae a más turistas debido a las favorables condiciones climáticas de Cozumel. Sin embargo, este periodo es también el más caro. Las temperaturas medias oscilan en torno a los 80 grados. Es importante tener en cuenta que los precios tienden a subir aún más durante las Navidades.
